About Us…

Carolyn's Adult Care is owned and operated by the Kaufman family. Care Director/Owner, Carolyn Kaufman is a geriatric specialist with many years of experience in the medical field. Prior to establishing their first Adult Foster Home, Carolyn and her husband, Jack, provided care and shelter to foster children for twenty years. Now, three generations of Kaufmans warmly welcome new adult residents into their family.

Your comfort and satisfaction are guaranteed with our personally selected, trained and caring staff. Our Care Managers work closely with each resident's physician to provide the best medical care possible. Physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech and occupational therapists, and clergy can make visits to the home for the convenience of the residents.

Each resident's needs are provided on an individual basis, and our care plans are designed to fit each person's particular requirements. Carolyn's Adult Care homes provide pleasant rooms, meals, housekeeping, laundry, medications, companionship, transportation, personal hygiene, hair care, and friends to talk to, for you or your loved ones. Carolyn's Adult Care residential home has a contact nurse who makes regular visits to the facility as do VHS, Hospice and physicians under certain criteria. In addition, we maintain a high 1-to-3 care giver-to-resident ratio and a full time Care Staff living in the home. Thus, our homes offer excellent medical care, emotional support and peace of mind while preserving dignity, independence and privacy.
